“hey!” shouted Jay my best friend. he ran towards me “did you wait for long?” he asked.
“nah! not really” was all i said.
“so what do you want to talk about?” he asked.
“huh? ahaaah….err…uhm….” i couldn’t quite say what i wanted to say.
“come on tell me.” he said.
i gave a big sigh “Jay…uhm…you see” i said while looking away “i think i like you” i whispered.
“huh? i can’t hear you.” he said.
“i said i think i like you!” i said while looking at him.
he stared at me in shock. “Ria don’t tell me-?”
“yes i did fall for you” i said while blushing.
“Ria! when?” he asked.
“i don’t know! i just realize that when ever your away i feel lonely… and when ever you’re with me my heart starts to beats fast..” i said.
“Ri! you can’t fall for me. please look for another guy that is right for you!” he said.
“huh?! but why?” i asked.
“Ria…. i haven’t told any one about this but….actually….i’m…..i’m gay” he said embarrassed.
“huh?!” i said shockily.
after that Jay tried to explain. but i just sat there saying nothing and then he left. i sat in the bench while facing the beach. i gave a big sigh. the 15th reject huh? i thought. i stood up to leave but i heard some one laughing in my back. i looked backed and then he was there laughing while pointing at me. i looked at him puzzledly. “you’re still the queen of reject huh?” was what he said and then he left.
and that’s how we met again…
