Meet Mang Meliton Zamora a.k.a Mang Milton

I came across the story of Mang Meliton Zamora while I was bloghopping.

Mang Milton was a janitor at the University of the Philippines for 45 years who after retirement found that he will receive a retirement pay equivalent to only 171 days because of the deductions he got every time a student he helped as a loan guarantor failed to pay his loan.

What a way for those students to return the kindness of Mang Milton to them during their financial problems. What an ungrateful fellows…
