24 Oras’ (GMA-7) coverage of “Lanao Attacks” (Best Newscast Category), ABS-CBN’s Boy & Kris (Talk/Interview), ABS-CBN’s Mars Ravelo’s Lastikman (Action/Adventure) and Korina Sanchez (Investigative Report for her expose on substandard food supplements) were awarded with Silver World Medal.
Reporter’s Notebook’s (GMA-7) “Pinays for Export: The Asian Sex Trafficking Trail” (Best Public Affairs Program) and Q Channel 11’s Chef to Go with its “Pesco Vegetarian Meal” episode (Magazine Format Category) both got Bronze World Medal.
