2 Pinoy films win in Europe fests

Two movies of last year’s Cinemalaya digital film festival, 100 by Chris Martinez and Jay by Francis Xavier Pasion, won awards in Europe fests. 100 won a Special Award in the 15th Vesoul International Festival of Asian Films on Feb. 17 and Jay won the Audience Choice Award in the 6th Black Movie Film Festival in Geneva, Switzerland on Feb. 8.

Last year, Auraeus Solito’s Pisay won two prizes (International Jury and Audience Choice) in Vesoul which aims to present a plurality of images from Asia.
